Moderate Democrats Outperform Far-Left DSA Candidates in 2026 Midterms

While the Democratic Socialists of America celebrated several high-profile victories in the 2026 midterms, the broader primary results tell a different story.

According to an analysis by Third Way, candidates backed by center-left Democratic organizations achieved a 90% primary win rate, compared with just 45% for candidates supported by four progressive organizations, including the DSA.

That's twice the success rate.

And there's another important distinction: Moderate-backed candidates competed in districts averaging Trump +2 in 2024, while progressive nominees ran in districts averaging Harris +26.

DSA-backed candidates secured congressional seats in overwhelmingly Democratic districts, including New York, Colorado and Michigan. But winning a deep-blue district is a different challenge from competing in politically divided territory.

The takeaway? The far left made headlines with several major victories, but the broader primary numbers show that center-left Democratic organizations had considerably higher success rates.

The battle for the Democratic Party's future is far from settled. Even with massive support from the Media, billions pumped in from CAIR, Soros and Muslim Brotherhood supporting PACs, the socialists haven't been able to take control of the Democratic Party, yet.

What this means is that there will be a divide in Congress and the House, as the Far Left pushes for promises that aren't supported by the Moderates or the Republicans.

Promises made which will mostly fall flat on their face as they try to actually push their anti-Israel agenda and make room for more islamists and communists in the halls of Washington.

As we're seeing in NYC, with failed promises of free buses, cheap groceries and unlimited taxpayer funded programs, the end result is nothing more than higher costs and Far Left politicians with nothing more to run on than hate for Israel and America.
