Why Dems Love of Illegals is Shifting the Latino Vote Right
The impact of illegal immigration on Black and Latino neighborhoods is one of the most politically charged debates in America because the effects are often never reported.
The White Left fighting to keep Black and Latino Americans poorer
Democrats run on protecting illegals, fighting against ICE, and pushing for higher taxes to cover ever increasing budgets for housing, healthcare and food, but they rarely have to deal with the impacts of what happens when thousands of unvetted people are forced onto poorer neighborhoods.
While Black and Latino families deal with the impacts of rising housing costs, flooded schools and gang-related violence, the White Left get to tout their empathy for mankind and call everyone else racist if they don’t agree with them.
Black and Latino communities have been devastated by the estimated 20M people who flooded our country during the Biden administration, but can’t speak up without Democrats calling them Nazis when they dare to complain.
Let’s look at the impacts the Democrat leadership gets to avoid, while Black and Latino communities pay the price.
Housing & Cost of Living
Poor neighborhoods often feel immigration pressures first because new arrivals typically move into lower-cost areas. In cities already struggling with housing shortages, this increases competition for apartments, raise rents, and overcrowd schools and services.

Illegal immigrants are more likely to pool resources to take over rentals, taking a two bedroom and filling it with upwards of four people to a room. Landlords look the other way, as they are able to get more for the unit, while Black and Latino Americans in these neighborhoods struggle to find affordable options.
This also means a strain on shelters, public housing systems, and social services with diminishing care and less availability for low-income Black and Brown Americans in need.
This increased demand in housing and Democrat politicians willing to put billions into covering housing for illegals, means American families get priced out or are forced to move out of their neighborhoods.
Wages & Jobs
The influx of low-skilled undocumented workers suppress wages for low-income Americans, especially Black and Hispanic workers competing in similar industries like construction, food service, medical care, housekeeping, agriculture, trucking, food delivery, taxi services and warehouse labor.
Starter jobs are taken by illegals willing to do the job for less or under the table, which increases the amount of teens without work. This has led to a rapid rise in “teen takeovers” in cities like New York, Philadelphia and Chicago, as bored young people without anything to do and no jobs or income often resort to criminality.
Without early job experience, these young Black and Latino Americans lose the ability to build credit, gain financial security and are often left surviving on dwindling government assistance. This creates a dangerous cycle and never being able to advance in life and build financially.
Schools, Hospitals & Public Services
Poor neighborhoods are already operating with limited resources and struggle when populations grow rapidly. Overcrowded classrooms, increased demand for translators and ESL programs, strained emergency rooms, reduction in gifted programs, shelter system overload and maximum pressure on city budgets leads to tax increases and diminished social services to Black and Latino communities.

Democrats blame Trump, claiming cuts to education, SNAP or Medicaid are the reasons people are failing, but the real truth is that their spending on illegals is what’s causing resources to be taken away from low-income families.
They lie and claim that undocumented immigrants contribute billions in taxes through payroll deductions, sales taxes, and property taxes from rent, but this is nothing compared to the costs associated to maintain illegals and provide them all the free services they claim to want to real Americans. So instead of reducing spending, the rally behind “Tax the Rich” resulting in wealth leaving major cities and with them higher paying jobs and the tax base needed to their over generous socialist agenda. Working class families are then left covering the bill.
Crime
Democrats make the claim that illegal immigrants commit crimes at a lower rate than native-born Americans, but neglect to tell voters that they do not include immigration status when recording crimes. This means the majority of crimes committed by illegals are never included in police reports.
Black and Latino Americans have reported a rapid increase in drug sales, sex trafficking, gun violence and rapes in their neighborhoods due to the influx of illegal immigrants.

In addition, Democrat cities are often run “catch and release” or “no cash bail” schemes where someone can reoffend multiple times before ever being put behind bars. This has led to increases in crimes such as shoplifting and roberies, stealing of copper wiring from street lights, arsons and other non-reported crimes. The result are cities with billions of dollars in tax revenue becoming dangerous and less safe for families. It also results in businesses leaving these cities or requiring all items they sell to be put behind glass to prevent theft.
Democrats will say this is because of billionaire greed, but it’s mainly due to their soft on crime policies that allow criminals to commit theft or violence without punishment or arrest.
Because these illegals don’t live in their whiter, richer neighborhoods they never have to feel the impact of losing a loved one due to gang violence or a much needed pharmacy or grocery shutting down due to excessive theft or dangerous conditions for workers.
Political Reality
The political tension often comes from perception of fairness.
While many Black and Latino Americans show up to town halls to share the issues caused by accepting thousands of unvetted illegals into their neighborhoods, they are often silenced and ignored, called bigots or racist for not wanting their neighborhoods and families to recess further into poverty.
Poor Americans compete for jobs, housing, and services while wealthier white neighborhoods are insulated, and never have to feel the impacts of the Democrats blind loyalty to sanctuary city policies, which only benefit non-Americans.

Rather than commit to removing dangerous criminals from Black and Latino neighborhoods, they instead impose policies to prevent ICE or Homeland Security from doing their job and release criminals to reoffend, over and over again.
Most low income Black and Latinos believe Democratic elites only support policies whose costs are mostly absorbed by working-class communities.
While Black and Latino neighborhoods are forced to suffer with less access to quality education, rising housing costs, understaffed hospitals, reduced job opportunities and fewer resources to escape poverty, the White Left ruling class benefits from having a larger census base that gives them more power in Washington and higher taxes to justify their uncontrolled spending and kickbacks to friends and campaign donors.
This is a major reason there’s been such a shift in political affiliation, with the majority of Latinos now identifying as Republican or Independent, and a growing base of Black Americans shifting Right. The voices in our community that are closest to the working class Black and Latino Americans are also waking up to the nightmare of Democratic rule and taking steps to ensure the next generation has what the previous one had, things like affordable housing, starter jobs and neighborhoods that can grow without the burden of third world immigration.
Hopefully soon, more in our communities will stand up and finally rid ourselves of the white saviors who believe they speak for us, but don’t understand out struggle.
