EXCLUSIVE: 'King of Kink' Announces 2028 Congressional Run as a Republican in Harlem and The Bronx
NYC sex club founder, former fashion executive and lifelong Democrat Daniel Saynt is entering politics — and he's doing it as a Republican.
Daniel Saynt, "King of Kink" and founder of New York City's controversial members-only adult wellness community The NSFW, will officially launch his 2028 congressional campaign this July 4th with an America 250 World Cup celebration at the Radio Hotel in Washington Heights.
The 42-year-old Bronx native is seeking to build an independent and conservative coalition in New York City, challenging the Democratic establishment that has dominated Upper Manhattan and portions of The Bronx for decades.
Running on a "Mo Money, Less Problems" platform, Saynt says his campaign will focus on creating economic opportunity over government dependency in neighborhoods he argues have been economically repressed for generations.
He believes in a NYC First approach to leadership, less focused on Palestine and more focused on rising pollution levels in The Bronx since the introduction of congestion pricing.
His candidacy is likely to raise eyebrows across the political spectrum.
For the past decade, Saynt has built The New Society for Wellness (The NSFW), a consent-focused adult community that has garnered international media attention for its events centered around relationships, sexuality and kink culture. The community has attracted celebrities, public figures and adult entertainers, creating an unusual backdrop for a congressional run in one of New York City's most heavily Democratic districts.
A Democrat for 25 years, Saynt says he is leaving the party behind to build a coalition of independents, conservatives, small business owners, creators and disaffected Democrats who believe New York needs an anti-socialist approach.
In keeping with his private-club background, Saynt has also launched the New Well Club, a members-only political advocacy organization that combines live events, digital media production and grassroots street teams to engage voters.

Born in Kingsbridge, The Bronx, in 1983, Saynt is a lifelong New Yorker who says he wants to fight for residents who have been displaced by rising costs and neighborhood change throughout Harlem and Upper Manhattan.

Saynt will self-launch his congressional bid on July 4, 2026, during an America 250 World Cup fundraiser and campaign kickoff event at the Radio Hotel in Washington Heights.
